I have said it before and I will say it time and time again. The most important thing help you lose weight (or to change any big aspect of your life) is discipline. Once you really decide that you want to do something you have to make sure that you hold yourself to doing it otherwise it will never happen!
Get A Routine
No matter whether you are changing your diet, trying out a new supplement, or starting a new workout, to be successful you need to first commit to yourself that you are going to stick with it. Any major change in lifestyle is never easy. It is always hard to adjust to. So, you need to really take a hard look at yourself and say “I need to do this. I AM going to do this!” If you start out with yourself convinced that you want to you will be much more successful!
Once, you have it in your head that you want to change yourself. You need to get in the routine of doing whatever you do (or break a routine that is hindering you). Make sure you do whatever you need to be doing everyday and keep at it! Weight loss is not an overnight thing. It takes time and effort, and if you put that in then you will see all the results you want.
Set Goals
One huge trick to being successful is to set goals for yourself. You need to set a few different goals. Set some that are easily achieved and in a short time span, and also set some harder, long term goals. By setting the short goals you really feel great and like you are accomplishing things when you scratch them off, while working all the time towards the ultimate goal.
Hang these goals somewhere where you will see them everyday. The back of your bedroom door, the kitchen, and a bathroom mirror are places that are good to keep your goals to keep them fresh in your mind at all times.
Also, as you start to achieve your goals. Do not be afraid to set more for yourself. Set more challenging goals to constantly keep you on your toes and ever working to better yourself.
Do Not Give Up On Yourself
You may start to think that you can skip a day or slack off a bit, but don’t! You are only cheating yourself and making your goals harder for yourself. Stay strong willed and keep on track, because the rewards will be worth it in the end!
Overall, You just need to stay strong and focused and you really can achieve anything you want. You just need to take the initiative and GO! Do it for yourself and no one else. If you discipline yourself than you will really be amazed at what you can do. Its as easy as 1 2 3. Decide what you want, figure out how you will attain that, and then do it!
